The Egypt Financial Regulatory Authority, in cooperation with the Faculty of Economic Studies and Political Science at Alexandria University, held an awareness lecture on the Authority’s role and the non-banking financial activities it supervises. The session outlined how the FRA supports the development of these activities, deploys supervisory tools aimed at reducing risk, promotes financial awareness, and protects the rights of market participants. The event was attended by the faculty’s dean and senior officials and drew more than 140 first-year students from the economics and political science departments. The lecture forms part of a wider series of university outreach activities under the FRA’s strategy to strengthen youth financial literacy and to support higher levels of financial, investment and insurance inclusion through greater awareness of non-banking financial services.
