Vietnam State Securities Commission instructs individuals to pay VND 1 million fee for securities practice certificates

The Vietnam State Securities Commission issued Notice 19/TB-UBCK requiring individuals named in an attached list to pay the statutory fee to complete the procedure for issuance of a securities practice certificate. The notice sets the fee at VND 1,000,000 per person under Ministry of Finance Circular 25/2022/TT-BTC and specifies how payment must be made. The fee can be paid by bank transfer to the Commission’s accounts at VietinBank or Vietcombank branches or paid directly at the Commission, with the transfer description required to include the certificate recipient’s name and identification details. It also states that if the recipient does not complete the process to receive the certificate within one year from the Commission’s fee-payment notice, the Commission will issue a decision cancelling the issued securities practice certificate.
