The Bank of Albania said its Supervisory Council reviewed the Annual Supervision Report 2025, which examines the banking system’s activity and the central bank’s supervisory work during 2025. The report sets out the main developments in the regulatory and supervisory framework and includes information and statistical data on entities licensed by the Bank of Albania. The review highlights changes aimed at aligning supervisory practices with international standards and best practices. The full report will be published on the Bank of Albania’s website in the coming days. In a separate decision, the Supervisory Council extended the “Money Talks: 100 Years Life and Events, Bank of Albania” exhibition until 18 January 2027 and also received an update on the Bank’s day-to-day operational and functional activities.
