The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) hosted public-sector professionals and technicians from 21 provinces under its Financial Education Programme, marking the close of the Council of Federal Investments (CFI) Federal Training Programme in Capital Markets and Financial Innovation. The session showcased CNV initiatives aimed at modernising the capital market, including recently introduced measures to simplify issuance procedures and the CNV’s tokenization framework. CNV Vice-President Sonia Salvatierra welcomed participants and outlined recent regulatory and operational developments, while CFI Financial Resources Director Esteban Rodríguez highlighted coordinated work with CNV to disseminate financial concepts and support productive capacity in the provinces. CNV staff presented the tokenization regime, including its regulatory basis and scope, followed by a Q&A, with closing remarks delivered by CNV board director Laura Herbón; CNV described the CFI programme, which it sponsors, as supporting transparency, financial education, and project financing capacity for both public and private initiatives.
