The Montenegro Capital Market Authority has opened a public consultation on two new draft rules covering disclosure by fund management companies and the regulatory recordkeeping framework for investment service providers. The first draft would set more detailed requirements for the content, method and deadlines for notifying the authority about contracts that management companies of open-ended public investment funds with a public offering conclude with distributors. The second would establish the content, form and maintenance of the register of licences for providing investment and ancillary services by investment firms and authorised credit institutions. The register draft also covers records of approvals issued for the appointment of members of the management bodies of investment firms and managers of authorised credit institutions. Both drafts are framed as implementing measures under Montenegro's laws on open-ended public investment funds with a public offering and on the capital market. After reviewing feedback received in the consultation, the authority will determine the final text of the rules.
