The Central Bank of Paraguay has enabled a new web platform, Consulta Estado de Deuda, that allows citizens to access Debt Status reports from the Credit Risk Center online through the central bank’s website. The change shifts these inquiries to a digital channel for individuals seeking their credit information. Access requires authentication through Electronic Identity credentials developed by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies. Those credentials are personal and non-transferable and consist of the national identity card number as the username and a personal password created by the user. The central bank said it currently receives about 150 requests a day. From May 1, 2026, this web-based process will be the only channel available for Debt Status inquiries.
