The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency of Türkiye amended its circular on compulsory motor third-party liability insurance premiums, setting a new uplift to the monthly maximum premium caps to be applied in June 2025. Under the tariff rules’ Temporary Article 11(2), the maximum premiums applied in May 2025 will be increased by 3% for June 2025 across vehicle groups and usage types. For taxis, minibuses (10–17 seats including the driver) and buses (18–30 seats and 31+ seats including the driver), an additional 2 percentage points is added to this increase. The amendment introduced by the 2025/15 circular enters into force on 1 June 2025.
