The framework supports earlier risk detection and more effective regulatory responses through the sharing of intelligence, expertise and professional skills. It builds on cooperation dating from 2007, an enhanced agreement signed in 2021, a joint statement in 2023 and coordinated enforcement work in 2026. Wong linked credible reporting and audit oversight to investor confidence in listed securities, corporate fixed-income instruments and exchange-traded funds.
