The European Securities and Markets Authority has published new questions and answers covering the EU ESG Ratings Regulation, the Market Abuse Regulation and the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation. The ESG ratings guidance addresses defined ranking systems, transitional provisions, ESG rating providers established after the regulation entered into force, and material changes to registration information. The MAR update covers the annually conducted audit under Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/957. The MiCA update addresses the exemption from white paper requirements when offering a crypto-asset other than an ART or EMT.
