The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) announced its participation in the national Nane Nane 2025 farmers’ exhibition in Dodoma, using its stand to provide public-facing services and insurance education. TIRA’s stand includes three dedicated desks for registration, handling complaints and delivering insurance awareness. The exhibition was officially launched on 1 August 2025 by Tanzania’s Vice President Philip Mpango at the Nzuguni grounds in Dodoma. TIRA linked the outreach to its stated target of increasing public understanding of insurance to 80% by 2030, and encouraged residents to visit its government-section booth (stand number 1) to learn about products including agricultural and livestock insurance, alongside insurers offering agricultural cover.
