The National Bank of Georgia, alongside the State Insurance Supervision Service, the Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision (SARAS) and the Fund of Beneficiaries of the Accounting Reform, has opened the “Best Annual Report and Transparency Award” (BARTA) 2025 competition to promote higher-quality corporate reporting and transparency in Georgia. Applications will be accepted until November 30, 2025. As in prior years, the competition is open to first-category companies and groups and to all entities of public interest. Winners across 10 prize categories will be announced at an awards ceremony in February 2026, including a “Best Debut Company” award for a first-time participant demonstrating a high reporting standard. The initiative is supported by the World Bank and the Business Association of Georgia, and BARTA 2025 is backed by the World Bank’s Enhancing Accounting, Auditing, and Sustainability Reporting (EAASURE) Regional Program implemented by the Centre for Financial Reporting Reform (CFRR).
