The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan has extended the period for submitting applications to participate in the second phase of its special regulatory regime that allows innovative products to be tested on a limited basis under the Bank’s supervision. Applications will now be accepted until 15 February 2025. Innovative financial products that meet the regime’s criteria will be eligible to participate in testing under a contract to be concluded with the Central Bank. Applicants can submit the documents and information specified in Clause 4.2 of the “Rule on the application of the special regulatory regime” via the dedicated webpage (sandbox.cbar.az) or in writing.
