The Ukraine National Commission on Securities and Stock Market reported that its specialists, including the head of its unit for state regulation of virtual asset turnover, participated in a specialised training on methods for investigating financial crimes involving virtual assets. The two-day programme, delivered with Ukrainian and international experts in blockchain analytics and digital forensics, combined theory with practical exercises on blockchain analysis to identify transaction “digital traces”, core operations with crypto wallets and the decentralised finance ecosystem, use of Crystal Blockchain investigative software, and digital search techniques to uncover concealed evidence of cryptocurrency transactions across devices. The training was organised under the UK Government-funded “Strengthening Capacity to Counter Illicit Finance in Ukraine (UCIF)” project, implemented by DAI Global UK Ltd with the Royal United Services Institute and Crystal Blockchain.
