The Board of the Brazil Securities Commission (CVM) approved the renewal of cooperation agreements with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Brazilian Development Association (ABDE), maintaining institutional support for the Financial Innovation Laboratory (LAB) and expanding collaboration areas. For the IDB, a second addendum extends the cooperation agreement and updates the project portfolio referenced as sources of financial resources for sustaining LAB activities. The package also introduces a new work plan for the period, updates covered projects, and refines the wording of certain clauses without material changes; the agreement is set for three years and is tied to a work plan intended to support joint LAB initiatives through November 2030. With ABDE, the renewed cooperation is set for five years, with the possibility of extension via an addendum, and is framed to leverage the LAB experience while adding mutual-interest objectives focused on knowledge dissemination, innovative financial solutions, capital market consolidation and integration with Development Finance Institutions, and inclusive actions with social impact.
