The Inter Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa has published a contract award notice for annual audits of its Capacity Development Project on Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism in West Africa Transition States. The three-year contract, covering the 2024, 2025 and 2026 project audits, was awarded to PYRAMIS Audit et Conseil SAS of Mali for FCFA 22,500,000 excluding VAT under a selection based on quality and cost. Three bids were evaluated. PYRAMIS was selected after receiving the highest overall technical and financial score, with a read-out bid price of FCFA 24,000,000 and an evaluated price of FCFA 22,500,000. FICADEX-TATE & ASSOCIES of Benin and SARB & Associates of India were rejected because their prices were higher and they ranked second and third respectively in the combined technical and financial assessment. The contract start date depends on the order of service or commencement of work notice.

The contract is valued at FCFA 22,500,000 excluding VAT and runs for three years. PYRAMIS was selected after achieving the highest combined technical and financial score among three bidders.
