The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a delegation from the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan for talks on strategic and operational aspects of monetary policy, with the two sides agreeing to continue dialogue on a regular basis and expand cooperation. The discussions were aimed at deepening the strategic partnership between the two central banks and establishing a more systematic exchange on modern monetary policy approaches. The meetings reviewed Uzbekistan’s experience with the inflation targeting regime, the operational framework for monetary policy, the policy decision-making process, and communication policy. The two sides also exchanged views on the Forecasting and Policy Analysis System, with the Azerbaijani delegation presenting its own approaches and experience.
