The Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet) announced a digital seminar for listed companies’ reporting leads, board members and audit committee members, focusing on supervisory follow-up of issuer reporting and evolving requirements. The agenda covers IFRS reporting, sustainability reporting and issuers’ disclosure obligations, including observations from Finanstilsynet’s reviews and areas it will prioritise going forward. The programme includes an overview marking 20 years of financial reporting enforcement, presentations on observations from issuers’ IFRS reporting, and sessions on sustainability reporting in the 2025 supervisory year, including observations and selected European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) S1 “Own workforce” disclosures on metrics and targets. It also covers priorities for reviewing annual reports in 2025, Finanstilsynet’s role as the takeover bid authority, rules on delayed disclosure of inside information, and a decision concerning unlawful sharing of inside information in analyst calls.
