Jersey's Financial Services Unit has announced a second annual allocation of GBP 1.5 million from the Jersey Reclaim Fund to support local charitable and voluntary organisations, with grants to be distributed through the Jersey Community Foundation. The allocation is part of a three-year package of at least GBP 4.5 million for 2025–2027 that Ministers announced in October 2024. Established in 2017 and administered by the Government of Jersey, the Jersey Reclaim Fund is funded from balances in dormant bank accounts where customer contact has been lost for more than 15 years; the Jersey Community Foundation distributed more than GBP 1.8 million from dormant funds in 2025. The next closing date for applications is 17 May, and a further funding round is planned for October.
