The Bank of Albania has invited entries for its 2026 Governor’s Award for the Best Diploma, a competition for Albanian students who graduate between October 2025 and October 2026, whether they studied in Albania or abroad. The award covers scientific papers on monetary and international economics, financial stability, Balkan economic integration in Europe, the Bank of Albania’s monetary and macroprudential policies, fiscal policy, the Albanian banking system, the behavior of individuals and firms in Albania, and broader economic issues. The competition has been awarded since 2006. It offers a first prize of ALL 250000, a second prize of ALL 200000 and a third prize of ALL 150000. The deadline for submitting documents is Oct. 31, 2026.
