The workshop covered International Financial Reporting Standards and disclosure management, auditing, public shareholding company offerings, and the basic frameworks for anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing. Attended by the head of the Accounting Department, Dr Mohammed Al-Babidy, the session introduced students to the Commission’s supervisory and oversight practices to build practical skills for future accountants, auditors and compliance officers in Jordan’s capital markets.
