The National Bank of Poland reported that inflation excluding food and energy prices rose to 3.3% year over year in August 2026 from 3.1% in July. Headline consumer price inflation was 3.4%. Inflation excluding administered prices increased to 3.3% from 2.8%, while the measure excluding the most volatile prices rose to 3.6% from 3.4%. The 15% trimmed mean remained unchanged at 2.8%.
