It reiterated that banks will not send SMS messages or emails containing links that direct customers to conduct transactions, or request login passwords or one-time passwords by phone, email or SMS. Anyone who has disclosed personal information or conducted a transaction in response to these scams should contact the relevant bank and report the matter to the Hong Kong Police Force.
