The Central Bank of Uruguay has resumed the nationwide tour of its BCUEduca economic and financial education program, beginning with an event for more than 500 secondary school students in Durazno. The initiative uses practical scenarios to teach young people about money management, financial planning, saving, credit, investment, payment methods and financial security. Students participated in games and simulations across 14 thematic stations. Further sessions are scheduled for Sept. 4 in Salto and Sept. 16 in Mercedes, continuing a program first held in 2025.
