The Central Bank of the Philippines has notified authorized agent banks and their subsidiary or affiliate foreign exchange corporations that eight Bangko Sentral Registration Documents have been reported lost and must not be honored if they are later found and presented. The documents cover the registration of foreign direct investments by KMC Solutions Hong Kong Limited in several Philippine companies. Replacement applications have been filed for the lost BSRDs. The notice applies to any use of those documents to purchase foreign exchange for capital repatriation or remittance of earnings, in line with Section 38 of the Manual of Regulations on Foreign Exchange Transactions, as amended.
