The Central Bank of Iraq signed a joint cooperation agreement with the National Bank of Kuwait – Bahrain at the central bank’s headquarters in Baghdad. The agreement was signed on behalf of the Central Bank of Iraq by Dr. Mohammed Younis Abu Ragheef, Director General of Investments, with the ceremony attended by the Governor, Ali Mohsen Al-Allaq, and a delegation led by the bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Ali Fardan. The cooperation is intended to raise collaboration in remittances and electronic payments, as well as training on modern banking practices and the exchange of statistical data.
