The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) released performance results for the Share Insurance Fund for the quarter ending 31 December 2025. The Fund reported net income of USD 113.8 million, total income of USD 168.3 million, assets of USD 24.1 billion, and an equity ratio of 1.30 percent. During the quarter, the number of composite CAMELS code 3 credit unions fell to 653 from 668 and their assets declined to USD 170.5 billion from USD 184.0 billion. Composite CAMELS code 4 and 5 credit unions decreased to 117 from 118, with assets down to USD 13.6 billion from USD 14.0 billion. The NCUA reported no federally insured credit union failures in the fourth quarter of 2025.
