Bank of Spain Gov. José Luis Escrivá visited the University of Castilla-La Mancha’s Albacete campus to review the financial education program jointly established by the two institutions for the current academic year. More than 100 students from the Albacete Faculty of Education have begun the course in its first edition. Escrivá met with teaching staff from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration responsible for delivering the program to discuss its development, objectives and scope. The course aims to strengthen university students’ financial skills and support economic decisions in their personal and professional lives. Established under a cooperation agreement signed in 2026, the initiative makes the University of Castilla-La Mancha the first Spanish university to develop a program of this kind with the Bank of Spain.
