The National Bank of Serbia reported that its NBS IPS system processed a record 611,415 payments worth RSD 8.07 billion on Oct. 15, 2026, the highest daily transaction count since the system launched. The system operates continuously and credits funds to recipients within seconds, including on weekends and nonbusiness days. Transaction volumes have risen consistently since its launch on Oct. 22, 2018.
