The Securities and Exchange Board of India has launched a Securities Market Hackathon at Global Fintech Fest 2025 (GFF ’25) in collaboration with BSE, CDSL, NSDL and KFintech, aimed at developing digital-first, tech-oriented solutions for real-world challenges in the securities market. Participants are expected to build tools that empower retail investors and improve transparency, efficiency, compliance and accessibility across capital markets, with solutions focused on fraud prevention, retail investor education and engagement, improving liquidity in bond markets, and member compliance monitoring. The programme includes cash prizes of INR 250,000 (first), INR 200,000 (second), and INR 150,000 (third), plus jury recommendation prizes of INR 25,000 each, and selected solutions may receive mentorship through the SEBI Innovation Sandbox.
