The Canadian Bankers Association has opened nominations for the 2026 Canadian Banks’ Law Enforcement Award, which recognizes exceptional law enforcement work involving Canadian banks. Banks and law enforcement agencies may nominate sworn officers, including special constables and sworn auxiliary peace officers, for individual or team achievements. Eligible nominations must demonstrate exceptional performance in investigations involving one or more Canadian banks, including cases concerning fraud, organized crime or bank robbery. Nominations are due by Oct. 23, 2026, and the awards will be presented at the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police annual summit in 2027.
