The Belgium Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) announced that it will run the 2026 update of the DORA Register of Information (ROI) on arrangements with third-party ICT service providers on a more limited basis, requiring submissions from only a limited number of firms and allowing unchanged information to be confirmed rather than resubmitted. In the 2025 exercise, in-scope companies compiled ROIs and the FSMA collected them via a FiMiS survey before forwarding the data to the European supervisory authorities (ESMA, EIOPA and EBA), which used the information to identify critical ICT service providers under European-level supervision. For 2026, firms selected for the update can confirm no change where applicable, or otherwise update last year’s data or submit a new register, with the technical specifications of the FiMiS survey remaining unchanged.
