The Angola Capital Markets Commission (CMC) held a financial education event for students from the Instituto Superior Politécnico Alvorecer da Juventude (ISPAJ), combining a lecture on capital markets fundamentals and investment opportunities with a guided visit to the CMC’s facilities. The 10 June lecture, delivered by Daniel Chipenda from the CMC’s Department of Studies, Strategy, Development and Communication and attended by ISPAJ capital markets professor Dr. Fábio Manuel, covered stock exchange dynamics, how the capital market operates, the CMC’s role, available financial instruments, and a step-by-step explanation of how to access those instruments. Around 70 third- and fourth-year students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Management attended, followed by an 11 June visit to the CMC to observe its work and interact with technical staff.
