The Central Bank of Cuba published an update confirming that Cuban banking and financial institutions have started a new payment cycle for retirees and pensioners of the National Social Security Institute (INASS), beginning on 14 April. Bank branches and currency exchange offices (CADECA) will provide priority service for this population group during the first three hours of the day. Beneficiaries paid via magnetic card can check credited balances without visiting a branch using Transfermóvil or Enzona (where a mobile phone is available), via ATMs, or through other channels offered by each commercial bank, and can use the card as a personal account for savings, deposits and withdrawals, transfers, and digital payments.
