The Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) announced the winners of its global vLEI Hackathon, selecting MSC Trustgate as the overall winner from 110 submissions focused on digital organisational identity. MSC Trustgate’s winning solution embeds verifiable Legal Entity Identifier (vLEI) credentials into a secure document-signing portal to verify identity and organisational authority, and ties these checks to AATL-recognised digital signatures. GLEIF said this approach removes redundant KYC and KYB steps, reduces fraud exposure, and generates PDFs that standard readers can validate without additional plug-ins. YourData placed runner-up with Agent-Anchor, which assigns vLEI identities to corporate AI agents, authenticates agents during live interactions to mitigate impersonation and spoofing risks, and supports integration with digital identity wallets including the eIDAS 2.0 EUDI Wallet.
