The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), alongside Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Bank of Thailand (BoT), has opened the second “Responsible Voices for Finfluencer” programme to promote responsible communication on finance, investment and insurance across social media. The cohort includes 40 financial influencers selected from multiple platforms for training designed to improve the accuracy, suitability and societal awareness of their content, including understanding how distorted information may be unlawful. As part of the programme, the OIC delivered a practical workshop on “responsible insurance communication” to help participants apply regulatory and product knowledge when producing public-facing content. The release also references the first cohort, which concluded in May 2025 and involved finfluencers with a combined follower base of more than 14 million. The programme is being held at the SEC’s offices, with sessions on 1 October 2025 and 8 October 2025 featuring expert lectures, idea generation and workshops by speakers from the three regulators; participants who meet the specified criteria will receive a certificate of participation.
