The Estonian Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority has withdrawn the crowdfunding service provider licence granted to Crowdestate AS on 6 March 2023. The withdrawal was made on 13 April following an application from the company itself. Crowdestate AS can no longer provide crowdfunding services, while its licence as a payment institution remains valid. Following the withdrawal, the company must ensure that its existing contracts are performed correctly and that clients' interests are protected in accordance with legal requirements.

Estonian Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority withdraws Crowdestate AS crowdfunding licence while payment institution licence remains valid
The Estonian Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority has withdrawn the crowdfunding service provider licence of Crowdestate AS, effective 13 April, following the company’s own application. Crowdestate AS may no longer provide crowdfunding services, but its payment institution licence remains valid, and it must ensure proper performance of existing contracts and protection of clients’ interests.
