The National Bank of Serbia announced that Governor Jorgovanka Tabaković will lead the Republic of Serbia’s delegation to the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group Spring Meetings in Washington, running from 21 to 26 April 2025. The delegation plans a series of bilateral meetings with senior representatives of international institutions to discuss current cooperation programmes and issues relevant to macroeconomic and financial stability. The agenda includes meetings of the International Monetary and Financial Committee and the Joint Committee on Development, as well as participation in the Swiss Constituency meeting to coordinate a common approach to Spring Meeting discussions, including a review of current cooperation with the IMF and World Bank and planned activities. A closed-door meeting of governors and finance ministers on the regional economic outlook for Central and Eastern Europe is also planned, alongside bilateral meetings with leading financial institutions, investors and strategic partners. Key Spring Meeting topics are expected to cover global economic developments, challenges, the outlook ahead and appropriate policy measures, including the IMF Managing Director’s presentation of the Global Economic Policy Agenda.
