The Central Bank of the Philippines issued a circular letter advising BSP-supervised financial institutions that Banco Rural De Isla Cordova (Cebu), Inc. has changed its corporate name to BRIC Bank, Inc., a rural bank. The BSP authorized the name change on 17 January 2022, and the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the amended articles of incorporation reflecting the new corporate name on 08 January 2025.

The Central Bank of the Philippines announced that Banco Rural De Isla Cordova (Cebu), Inc. has changed its corporate name to BRIC Bank, Inc. The name change was authorized by the BSP on 17 January 2022 and approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission on 08 January 2025.
