The Moroccan Capital Market Authority issued a press release, in collaboration with the Moroccan Foundation for Financial Education, setting out its planned activities for the 13th edition of the OECD/INFE Global Money Week campaign, which starts on 7 April under the theme “Think before you follow, wise money tomorrow”. The programme includes immersion days and conferences for students at major schools and universities, and the fifth edition of the “Quiz Finance” competition for high school students across several cities. The AMMC will also publish educational materials including two new editions of its Investor Handbook, thematic fact sheets, financial literacy messages broadcast on radio and social networks, and new thematic quizzes added to the “Quiz Finance” application; the release also notes that since 2012 the initiative in Morocco has mobilised 123 organisations, directly reaching 753,317 children and youth and 8,141 adults, with an estimated indirect reach of nearly 2.6 million people. The educational content will be made available via “Le Marché des Capitaux Pour Tous”, the AMMC’s financial literacy web portal.
