The Bank of Finland has appointed Iina Lario as Head of Communications for a five-year term, making her responsible for communications planning, implementation and strategic development. The Communications unit manages the Bank of Finland’s publications, online services and social media channels, with the Bank of Finland Museum and the Financial Literacy Centre operating in conjunction with it. Lario has worked at the Bank of Finland since 2008, most recently as Head of Stakeholder Engagement, and has also held communications roles at the European Central Bank, including in its International Media Relations unit and in communications for ECB Banking Supervision. The unit participates in the work of the Eurosystem Communications Committee and its subgroups.
