The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) announced that its president, Roberto E. Silva, has been elected to serve on the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) Finance and Audit Committee for a two-year term. The appointment was decided by a vote of IOSCO Board members following the departure of the head of the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC), Nezha Hayat. CNV also noted that Silva is already serving as the Inter-American Regional Committee (IARC) representative to IOSCO for the 2024–2026 term.
