The Bank of Italy reported that €-coin rose to 0.54 in July from 0.39 in June, supported by improved business and household confidence, particularly in forward-looking assessments. The monthly indicator estimates underlying quarterly euro-area GDP growth after removing seasonal variations, measurement errors and short-term volatility. It provides an early measure of the region’s economic trend ahead of official GDP data.
