The Guernsey Financial Services Commission announced that its next Digital Forum roundtable will take place on 22 October at 2pm at the Commission’s Regency Court offices, focusing on digital asset custody. The session is open to representatives of the Bailiwick’s financial services sector and other stakeholders with expertise or interest in the topic. Following earlier roundtables on asset tokenisation and stablecoins, the discussion will examine the potential opportunity for digital asset custody activity in the Bailiwick, possible impediments to its development, and what an optimal regulatory landscape could look like for custody and related activities, including custody of traditional securities underlying digital assets.
