The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) announced that the Alternative Investment Fund Mega Ploutos AIF Variable Capital Investment Company Plc (licence number AIF72/2018) has been dissolved and placed into liquidation following a decision of its shareholders’ general meeting under Article 63(1)(e) of the Alternative Investment Funds Law of 2018. The shareholders’ decision also dissolved and placed into liquidation the AIF’s Multi-Strategy Investment Compartment. The dissolution was communicated to CySEC by the AIF’s external manager, Mega Ploutos Fund Management Ltd, in line with Article 63(8) of the law, and the liquidation is voluntary.
