The Central Bank of Nicaragua inaugurated an on-site solar energy generation system at its headquarters in Managua with an installed capacity of 885 kW. The installation comprises 1,626 solar panels deployed across a dedicated solar park and two vehicle parking areas. The system also includes three lightning rods and an integrated grounding network designed to protect people, equipment and facilities against electrical faults and atmospheric events, and is positioned as part of the bank’s institutional modernization plan and aligned with nearby infrastructure works in Managua.
