The Greek Ministry of National Economy and Finance outlined Eurogroup President and Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis’ first visit to Germany in his Eurogroup role. His meetings with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Vice Chancellor and Federal Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil will focus on Europe’s economic outlook, growth and competitiveness challenges, and stronger fiscal coordination across the eurozone. The discussions will also address deeper European financial integration through further development of the Banking Union and advancement of the Savings and Investments Union. Pierrakakis will also participate in a public event hosted by the Jacques Delors Centre at the Hertie School.
