The Bank of Greece reported that nominal apartment prices rose by an estimated 5.5% year on year nationwide in the second quarter of 2026, based on provisional data. This followed average annual increases of 8.3% in 2025 and 9.1% in 2024, according to revised data. New apartment prices increased by 6.2%, outpacing the 5.0% rise for apartments more than five years old. Regional growth ranged from 4.7% in Thessaloniki and 5.0% in Athens to 5.4% in other cities and 7.1% in other areas of Greece. Across all urban areas, prices rose by an estimated 5.3%.
