The Central Bank of Chile has launched an official WhatsApp channel to strengthen dissemination of its information, including policy reports, public statements, statistics, surveys and other publications. The channel, named “Banco Central de Chile”, allows users to access all content published on the central bank’s website and to view charts, infographics and videos. It complements the central bank’s existing use of Instagram, LinkedIn and X as part of efforts to make its content easier to access.
