U.S. Senate Committee on Finance Ranking Member Ron Wyden demanded that the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation immediately provide all FBI interview reports related to investigations of Jeffrey Epstein and his associates. The request follows his investigators’ discovery of an unreleased report documenting an FBI interview with a banker closely tied to Epstein. Wyden specifically sought reports involving employees of JPMorgan Chase, Deutsche Bank and Bank of America. The demand forms part of Wyden’s investigation into the financial aspects of Epstein’s sex trafficking operation. A report he published last month alleged that executives at the three banks violated federal anti-money laundering laws by failing to screen and report at least USD 1.4 billion of suspicious transactions linked to Epstein in a timely manner.
