Armenia's Ministry of Finance reported that Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan participated in the 14th Annual Global Investment Conference in Abu Dhabi as part of a delegation led by President Vahagn Khachaturyan and held talks on deepening ties with the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange. During a meeting with Abdulla Salem Al Nuaimi, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, attended by Hayk Yeganyan, Director General of the Armenian Stock Exchange, the parties discussed options for bilateral cooperation focused on expanding financial markets and promoting new investment. Hovhannisyan presented Armenia’s current economic reforms and financial-system development priorities and highlighted the Armenian Stock Exchange’s membership in Abu Dhabi’s “Tabadul” digital exchange hub as a channel to expand international investment opportunities and access to new markets.
